where is my pistol

there is something romantic about hidden objects in books; from secrets and money, to jewels, to drugs, or to guns. literature has been not only been the salvation of society, but also the culprit of criminals from all walks of life. makes me want to go home and carve out a few books myself… hmmm but what books? proust’s “a la recherche du temps perdu”? maybe not thick enough, how about mann’s “joseph der ernähre”? now what could i put inside them? by xy

ON ART – CHARLES SAATCHI

WHEN THE SKY FELL DOWN – GUY BOURDIN DOCUMENTARY

i haven’t heard anything else floating around about this documentary, but that doesn’t say much. it’s a little strange so maybe that’s why i’m skeptical… odd song to use, and all of the text bits seem to be “advertising” it more than building curiosity. anyway, if you find out more, please let me know!   by kl

all apologies to mister saint patrick, cheers!

saint patrick was a christian missionary, who is now the most famous patron saint of ireland. i don’t have the patience to tell a long story, but march 17th is supposed to be a solemn and holy day in respect to his passing, as well as a celebration of ireland in general.   … i don’t have to tell you the point has been lost. the worst part is that it’s not lost in an “i get presents and too much good food” sort of way, it’s lost in a “drunk teenagers crowding the streets before noon on a gorgeous and otherwise very pleasant saturday” sort of way.

i’m just going to close my eyes and wait till it’s over.  by kl
