tim walker is an anomaly in the fashion world. he maintains a raw and naive feel to bring personal connection to his images sprouting from childhood tendencies he never grew out of. he creates a mood of dream and reality at the same time. he emits innocence and darkness simultaneously. he does things his way, and that’s why he is different from those who shoot primarily for someone else, he shoots for himself, and he wants to play. i saw this show at somerset house and it’s really great, if you’re in london please go! apologies for the late post as there are only 2 more days left, but make the time if possible, it shows a wonderful balance of his work mingling along with actual props and set pieces built, so you feel as though you are finally entering his private world. gotta love a dreamer. by kl

Aquascutum by christopher sturman
nice visuals for the english trench-coat manufacturer and now fashion house aquascutum. the plan is to give you a sense of its manufacturing process and thus its quality, and to be honest they are rather well made but awhile ago i looked into them and I could not find a single design i would care to wear. nice pictures now its time to hire a good designer. by dd
