along with a 68 degree debut to spring, the 2012 armory show is starting today and all the artsy ones are meeting up in piers 92& 94 through this sunday. although i am impatiently waiting for the frieze art fair (only because it’s outdoors in the sweet may sun) i am looking forward to see what the 14th edition of armory show has to offer, as it’s a great event to find out about new artists, and see new works by the ones we already know and love. 133 international exhibitors are featured in the fair, including names like ai weiwei represented by gallery hyundai. the photo is from 2011 armory show, a work by daniel arsham. by ak
